Refund Policy

(Applies to all workshops registered through Qi Dragon Healing Center or Qi Dragon School only)

It's a student's responsibility to read our REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY before registering for any of our workshops.

This is our general cancellation/refund policy that applies to all Qi Dragon facilitated workshops and our online distant learning courses if no particular refund policy is indicated. If there is a specified workshop policy, it will supersede this general refund policy. For workshops sponsored/registered by other organizations, those organizations' refund policies will apply.

General non-residential weekend workshops and Qi Dragon School distant learning and live Zoom courses Refund Policy:

For non-residential weekend in person workshops, full refund is given for cancellation made 15 days before the workshop minus a $50 processing fee. Cancellations made within 15 days prior to the workshop will be nonrefundable in all cases. You may receive a credit for a future same course workshop if it is offered again. Your credit is not transferable for any other types of services or courses. This credit is only valid within one year of the workshop one signs up for. Qi Dragon is not responsible for the availability of the course. All cancellations must be made in writing. There is no credit for a partial workshop or for any missed classes.

Any Qi Dragon School online distant learning courses through Teachable platform are not refundable once you register. For all Live Zoom workshops, full refund is given for cancellation made 15 days before the live online workshop minus a $50 processing fee. All cancellations must be made in writing.

It is a student's responsibility to read this cancellation and refund policy, animal policy as well as our disclaimer before signing up for any Qi Dragon's workshops/classes.

Qi Dragon reserves the right to change the dates and location of workshops. Qi Dragon reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment (generally 8 people minimum). In those cases, the registrants will be notified of the change and will be eligible for a full refund.

General residential Retreat Refund Policy that involves lodging fee:

For all retreat setting workshops, your retreat deposit fee is not refundable for any reason once your application is accepted and there is no lodging credit available for a future retreat either. If a cancellation in writing is made 90 days before the retreat, your tuition fee for the retreat is 100% refundable minus $50 processing fee. If a cancellation is made in writing 45 days before the retreat, your tuition fee will be 80% refundable. If a cancellation is made in writing less than 45 days before the retreat, your tuition is not refundable. Your full tuition can be used as a credit towards the next offering of the same retreat (the lodging fee is not creditable, which means you will need to pay for lodging required for the next retreat you will be attending). Your tuition credit is only applicable to the next offering of the same retreat and valid within one year. If a retreat has a specified refund policy, that policy will supersede this general retreat refund policy.

Animal/Children/Visitor Policy:

Due to the nature of meditative activities of Qigong and Taichi, no animals except certified service animals specified by ADA law and no young children or visitors are allowed to all our workshops and retreat trainings unless we specifically say "Animals, Children and Friends/Families are welcome". Please alert us to the need for ADA animal accommodation at the time when you register.

Qi Dragon reserve the right to deny anyone’s participation in our workshops/retreats if a student is not able to follow the above guidelines and policy.

Disclaimer

Qigong and Taichi Exercises may have the risks of pain, injury or discomfort. As a participant, you are responsible for consulting your physician regarding your medical concerns and evaluation of your suitability before signing up for any of Qi Dragon’s workshops. By participating in any of Qi Dragon’s classes and workshops, you have read this disclaimer and you consent to and authorize the use and reproduction of all photographs and audiovisual related to the workshops for the purpose of promoting Taichi Qigong art and the work of Qi Dragon.
